Ways to Avoid COVID-19

As the Coronavirus pandemic continues, people are told we can all play a role in stopping its spread. However, what can we do?

When it comes to COVID-19, there are still a lot of things to learn.  What we do know is that there are a couple of precautions that you can take to help slow the spread of this deadly virus. From buying bulk disinfectant wipes to social distancing, here are several ways you can help to lower the spread of Coronavirus:

If You Get Sick, Have a Plan

Talk to family and friends about who could help you if you get sick. Plan who can deliver or cook meals, run errands, and take care of you.

Prepare for Your Needs in Case You Will Have to Stay Home for a Longer Time

You’ve got to ensure you have enough medicines, household items, and groceries on hand. This can include meals, over-the-counter medications, and much more. Also, you’ve got to ensure you know how to order more either by making a phone call or online.

Do Not Travel if Unnecessary

Though you might be tempted to visit your family or grandkids, you should not travel during this pandemic since it might expose you to a person who might be infected.

Do Not Share

While you might typically steal a bite from the plate of your child or share a meal with your partner or friend, now is the time to be selfish with your food. You should not share any common kitchen objects. This includes food, cups, utensils, drinking glasses, dishes, and much more. It does not matter if that individual is living with you. In addition to that, you’ve got to ensure you wash properly any kitchen items after using it. You can use soap and hot water. You can also use a dishwasher in cleaning them.

Regularly Clean High-Touch Surfaces

Nobody still knows if the virus can spread from any surfaces to individuals or how long the virus might survive outside the body of a human. Take additional attention and wash surfaces that are frequently touched. This includes sinks, faucets, toilets, desks, light switches, doorknobs, tables, and much more. Make sure you use disinfectants that are suitable for the surface.

Do Not Touch Your Mouth, Nose, and Eyes

You should be wary and keep your hands away from any part of your face where the virus can enter the body.

Social Distancing

You need to maintain at least 3-6 feet distance between you and other individuals. You should not touch other people. This includes hugging, kissing, or shaking hands. You can try a smile or a hand wave instead.

Wear a Mask

A cloth mask might not protect you. However, it might keep you from spreading the virus if you’ve got it. Whenever you go outside, it is advised that you wear face coverings to lower the spread of the virus. This is particularly true if social distancing measures are hard to keep. If you don’t have a mask, you can always make one at home

How to Market Your Rental Property to Millennials?

You certainly have to aim younger tenants if you have a rental property and you are a landlord. People who are born around the early 1980s and mid-1990s, also known as millennials, are the main candidates for the rental market. Of course, there are a lot of reasons for this.

For those who don’t know, the Millennial generation makes up around 25% of the population in the United States. There are around 80 million of them. Because of this, you will want to guarantee that your properties are appealing to the Millennial age group.

Aside from asking hiring property management near San Mateo, here are several ways to market your rental property to Millennials:

Have Public Areas to Gather

Millennials want to meet people and go out. That’s why you should make a spot to gather on your property if possible. Do you have a spot where it can be made into a seating area for holiday and summer parties or a barbeque pit?

Market the Neighborhood

Keep in mind that Millennials are young. They are attracted to checking out local craft beer, hot new restaurants, block parties, and music festivals. You will have a more appealing rental property if your neighborhood appeals to the younger generation.

You should create a list of the happenings and events in your neighborhood that will be appealing for individuals in their 30s and 20s. You should emphasize stores and local eateries. With Millennials, artisanal crafts are huge. Thus, you should highlight any local purveyors. Also, health food stores, parks, vegan restaurants, and farmer’s markets will be extremely enticing. You’ve got to ensure you understand what your neighborhood provides.

Allow Pets

Of course, homeowner’s associations, landlords, and property owners don’t like pets. There’s a reason for that. animals have claws, teeth, and fur. They also have accidents. All of these aspects can be unkind to your property. They sometimes need maintenance and cleaning beyond what humans need.

However, the truth is that Millennials are pet lovers. This generation represents around 35% of the pet ownership market. You are getting rid of a huge part of this market if you do not allow pets.

Whenever you are making furnishing options, construction, and development, you should plan to allow pets in your rental property. For instance, composite or hardwood floors will withstand pet accidents better compared to carpet.

Make Your Property Environmentally-Friendly

The Millennial age group is extremely eco-friendly. They want to live an eco-friendly life. They are worried about the overuse of natural resources, climate change, and pollution. Because of this, they really prefer energy-efficient rental properties.

For instance, you can utilize non-pollutants such as paint without VOC. You also have to market it. You also have to advertise it as well if you are near a community garden or a farmer’s market. It will be extremely popular for them if you have solar panels for appliance use or heating. Make sure you market your property if you are close to public transportation since they consider it a low carbon footprint mode of transportation.

Why Hiring a Real Estate Agent is a Good Idea?

Buying and selling properties online is no simple task. In fact, there’s a little success rate even in the typical advertising and marketing without being represented by a real estate representative. Some can successfully sell or buy without one, but most people don’t get a good deal. So why do you really need to consider a real estate agent?

1. They Give You A Cost Guide

It’s not like shopping for a fruit or vegetable at the farmer’s market wherein you can negotiate immediately with the seller and agree on a price if you do negotiate about it. Prices on real estates can vary based on different variables. Most people usually believe that agents are there to set the price for both buyers and sellers. They are only there to help usher the clients into making the right decision that suits them best.

2. They Have Training

Real estate agents have all the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience. Sure, you can study it yourself, but wouldn’t that take so much time of your already full schedule? Yes, they are not all the same, but they all are similar when it comes to price. You can also have a list and then screen them down. Hiring one will guarantee that you’ll have more time for other important things.

3. They Act as Buffers

If you are a seller and you’ve put up ads or websites or other marketing strategies online, a number of people will check out your listing. And some if not most of them may be spams. They can also screen out callers that have no intention or interest in the property put out and instead lists the potential serious buyers and persuade or influence them on writing that offer.

4. They Know the Market

Real estate representatives can reveal what the current happenings are in the market, which will administer your buying or selling proceedings. Numerous factors decide how you will continue. Some of these are the price per square meter of other homes that closely resemble yours, selling price average, and others will greatly influence what your decisions will be.

5. They Know the Neighborhood

Even if they don’t exactly know everything about the neighborhood, they can always get their way in finding it out. Real estate agents either know about the neighborhood, or they can pick up information and fizzle about which is helpful in the industry. They can find out about identical deals or different types of deals that happened and present the data to you. They can also guide you about the neighborhood’s schools, churches, crime rates, etc.

6. They Have the Right Skills

Skills like persuasion, negotiation, and others set them apart from if sellers and buyers do the negotiation themselves. They are trained to keep their emotions at bay when it comes to getting things done. And they are confidential about it as well.

If you are convinced, you might want to give sell my house fast professionals a check.
